Saragh never had a sick day in her 10 years and 4 month long life. She lived life in the fast lane, and in the end she was only ill for a few hours before she died of what is assumed to be cerebral hemorrhage. Saragh only had one litter.
Saragh is a "wild child" and an "Amazon warrior." She is everywhere. There is a great hunter in her heart, which is clearly expressed in a super-alert sighthound manner. She is incredibly sweet and loving as well as terribly bossy. Today (2005) she ranks as one of the alpha bitches in the pack. It has been a long, hard battle for her and not until the recent passing of Eadie (W. Knock Out) was the path open for her. Saragh is always first in line for a good brawl. If you look into her mouth, it most of all resembles that of a retired hockey player. She has all the agility and energy of a youngster in spite of her 7 1/2 years of age. She is the charming troublemaker, who you can't help but to love in spite of everything.
Saragh's show career has been good. She finished her championship in no time at all but she is a small bitch of only 75 centimeters, which was the reason why she was never heavily campaigned. We have taken her out now that she is a senior, simply to show that a 7 1/2-year-old Wolfhound doesn't necessarily mean an aged hound. She moves as freely and beautifully as ever, and has placed a couple of times in the final competitions at the all breed shows. She is top-winning IW-senior (7-10 year category) in Denmark 2004.
